Make AI useful in your everyday life
Learn to explain a task, let AI build a first version, then check and improve it. Start with one useful project. Keep building skills for your work, your own business ideas and systems that can run repeat tasks for you.
What this skill opens up
Create your own projects
Make landing pages, calculators, small apps and personal tools. Change the design and behaviour yourself as your idea develops.
Get everyday work done
Organise files, clean tables, prepare reports and turn a repeated task into a reusable AI workflow.
Build personal AI agents
Give an agent a goal, instructions and tools. Learn how it plans steps, uses information and returns work for you to review.
Develop your business
Test a product idea, improve your website, prepare customer research and create tools for sales or operations.
Your learning path
About 4–7 hours of hands-on practice, focused on one starter project. Follow the shared lessons on your own, or use them with a personal plan and support. Start with Codex or Claude Code; you can try the other later.
01STEP 01Set up your AI workspace
Learn to give AI a clear task and work with your own files
Set up your AI workspace
Learn to give AI a clear task and work with your own files
- Set up Codex or Claude Code and understand the app, project folder and terminal — the place where commands run.
- Write a brief with a goal, examples and a definition of “done”. Use planning and context to keep the work on track.
- Create project instructions with AGENTS.md or CLAUDE.md. Set access permissions and learn to review changes.
Your practiceAn organised workspace and a clear build plan for your first project.
02STEP 02Build something you can use
Turn your idea into a website, small app or everyday helper
Build something you can use
Turn your idea into a website, small app or everyday helper
- Use prompts and visual references to create the first version. Learn the difference between the interface, stored data and an API — a way for services to talk.
- Ask AI to explain errors, test the important steps and improve the result. Use screenshots and browser checks for feedback.
- Keep versions with Git so you can compare changes and return to an earlier working version.
Your practiceA working first version of your chosen project, checked with realistic examples.
03STEP 03Skills, connections and your first agent workflow
Teach AI your process instead of repeating every instruction
Skills, connections and your first agent workflow
Teach AI your process instead of repeating every instruction
- Use and adapt a Skill: reusable instructions in a SKILL.md file, with examples or helper scripts when needed.
- Understand MCP — a standard way to connect AI to external tools and data. See how a connection fits into a real task.
- Build a small agent workflow: input → steps → result → review. Define its tools, limits and when it should ask you.
Your practiceOne reusable skill and a guided agent workflow, such as turning project notes into a structured report.
04STEP 04Launch, improve and use it for work
Take the project beyond your laptop and plan what comes next
Launch, improve and use it for work
Take the project beyond your laptop and plan what comes next
- Publish a small web project or set up a local tool for everyday use. Understand hosting, secrets and running costs.
- Practise updating the project, checking results and recovering from mistakes. Document the steps you will repeat.
- Turn the project into a business experiment or portfolio example: who it helps, what it does and how you will gather feedback.
Your practiceYour finished starter project, a repeatable update process and a practical next-step plan.
The tools and concepts you will use
Codex
Work with a project, ask AI to make changes and check the result.
Official guideClaude Code
Build and improve projects with an AI assistant that works with your files and tools.
Official guideSkills & project instructions
Give AI a reusable process and the context it needs for your work.
Official guideMCP & agent workflows
Connect tools, divide work into steps and review what the agent produces.
Official guideStart with one coding assistant. The lessons explain the setup; the supported plan helps you choose for your computer and task. AI subscriptions and paid hosting are separate.
What you can try next
These are next steps to explore as you gain practice. Your starter programme focuses on one useful project; keep the files and process for your next idea.
Autonomous agents & scheduled work
Build agents that run a defined workflow with less supervision. Add schedules or event triggers, logs, retries and approval points. Understand when local tasks need your computer running and when to use a hosted system.
A team of specialised agents
Use subagents for research, building and review. Design the handoff, share the right context, test the combined result and control usage costs.
Connected apps & business growth
Work with APIs, databases, CRM tools and browser automation. Build an MVP, a lead research workflow or an internal dashboard, then measure how it helps your business.
What you receive
- One working starter project and its source files
- One reusable skill, project instructions and a prompt library from your exercises
- A launch or local-use guide, testing checklist and next-step plan
- Shared lessons, exercise files, examples and common fixes to keep using
What to bring
Bring a laptop, one small idea and about 4–7 hours for practice. Start with the self-paced lessons, or tell us your task and preferred language for a personal plan. No coding background needed.
A few things you might ask
Do I need to know how to code?+
No. Start with one small task and learn by doing. We explain the technical words when you need them. You need a laptop and time to practise.
Do I need both Codex and Claude Code?+
Start with one. The lessons help you understand how to work with a coding agent, so you can try the other later. For the supported plan, we help you choose.
How much time should I set aside?+
Plan for about 4–7 hours of hands-on practice on one starter project. Self-paced learning has no group schedule. With support, aim for a week; the support window lasts up to 10 calendar days from the agreed start date.
How does support work?+
In the supported format, send a question, screenshot, file or short screen recording. We help with your agreed task and reply by the next working day. Personal videos and up to two optional short calls are used when helpful.
Can I do it without calls?+
Yes, in both formats. Self-paced learning uses lessons and exercises. Personal support can happen entirely in writing, with short screen recordings when useful.
What about language?+
Tell us your preferred language in the form. We confirm the language of your materials and support in the offer. Written steps and video captions make it easier to follow along.
Will you build the whole project for me?+
This is learning: you do the exercises and make changes yourself. With support, we prepare starter files, explain the steps and review your work. If you want a finished project built for you, choose custom development.
Can this help me earn money?+
You can use the skills to improve your work, test a business idea or prepare for paid client projects. Start by making something useful, then build experience and examples of your work.
What does the price cover?+
Learning starts from $349. We confirm the price and access details for the self-paced pack before payment. For the supported plan, the final price and scope follow your questionnaire. AI subscriptions, paid services and hosting are separate.
